Cucumbers are a prolific and delicious summer crop. We had a bumper season at the community garden in 2025.

Tender freshly picked cucs are a league away from the cucumbers that have been refrigerated and transported from interstate.

As well as munching them off the vine, dipping them in dips and adding them to salads, a glut of cucumbers lends itself to tzatziki, raita and pickles.
